Human Services Commission
The Human Services Commission, by Executive Order, makes recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly about providing high quality human services to Illinoisans. The Commission addresses issues such as the process for determining fair, timely and adequate reimbursement to providers; efficient management of publicly-funded programs and services; and future projections for the need for human services in the state.
June 30, 2014 – The Human Services Commission released its report for 2013-14. This report summarizes the work of the Commission and its three workgroups (Illinois Framework Project Workgroup, Increasing Options and Opportunities Workgroup, and One Health and Human Services Workgroup) over the past year, and lays out an agenda for the Commission in 2014-15.
